For 8 very lucky U14 Girls at HRFC, a day of core memories among their heroes. With a field full of world cup winners and finalists, Quins v Chiefs in the PWR match was sure to be an engaging affair. Our girls were invited by Quins to be the official ball girls for the match and did a smashing job at making sure the ball was where it needed to be to keep play going. Whilst parents and fans looked on adoringly, the girls were indeed treated to an incredible match, ending in a 38-38 draw. Chiefs succumbed in the end to relentless pressure (and 2 yellow cards) defending their try line from wave after wave of overtime redzone attacks by Quins. Lagi Tuima went over to bring the scores level, with the conversion missed.

After the match, the girls were given privileged access to all the players, with autographs collected, chats had and selfies taken, inspiring them for their own next round of matches. Absolute highlight was our fullback Annabel challenging a certain Ellie Kildunne to a race at The Stoop. Ellie duly obliged and the result was a very close draw followed by the pair of 15s "dabbing each other up" with loads of laughter.
Huge credit to Quins for giving us this opportunity and massive congratulations to the girls for representing HRFC in such a great way.
