Hungerford RFC: Play For All Initiative

At Hungerford RFC, we believe that rugby should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Our Play for All initiative is designed to ensure that every child in our community has the opportunity to participate in the sport they love, without the burden of financial strain.

What We Offer:

We understand that the costs associated with joining a rugby club can add up. That’s why we’ve created flexible options to support families who might find it challenging to cover these expenses. Our options include:

  • Staggered Payments: Spread the cost of membership over the season with our flexible payment plans. This option allows you to break down fees into manageable installments, making it easier to budget.
  • 50% Sponsorship: For families who need a little extra help, we offer a 50% sponsorship on membership fees. This option provides significant financial relief while still covering a portion of the costs.
  • Full Sponsorship: We understand that some families may face significant financial challenges. For those who qualify, we offer full sponsorship, covering 100% of the membership fees, ensuring that no child is left out.
  • Kit Support: Whether you choose partial or full sponsorship, we also offer options to cover the cost of the rugby kit. This ensures that your child has everything they need to get on the field and play with confidence.

How to Apply:

Applying for our "Playing for All" initiative is simple and confidential. You will need to submit/resubmit a request each season:

  1. Contact the Juniors Secretary: Email or WhatsApp Lou Evans (sec.hrfcjuniors@gmail.com or 07917 058523) requesting access for your child/children to the scheme and letting her know what level of support you’d like. You do NOT need to provide evidence of your financial situation.
  2. Approval and Next Steps: If your application is approved, we’ll work with you to set up the payment plan or sponsorship that best suits your needs. We’ll also arrange for any kit support you’ve requested.
